BoffoDay is a dispatch board for small crews of field technicians, with a phone app for the technicians themselves. This page explains what BoffoDay keeps, where it is kept, who can see it and how to have it deleted.

In short

• There are no ads in BoffoDay.
• BoffoDay has no analytics and no tracking.
• We do not sell your data or pass it on to others.
• A technician's earnings and tips can be seen only by that technician.
• You can delete your account yourself, inside the app.

What BoffoDay keeps

BoffoDay keeps what you and your crew enter into the app:

• Your account: email address, password and name.
• Your profile: your role in the crew, specialty, phone number, working hours, and a profile photo if you add one.
• Your company: its name and the kind of work it does. Crew size, number of jobs, country and city — only if the sign-up form asks for them.
• The crew's clients: name, phone number, addresses and notes.
• Jobs: time, client and address, what the problem is, who does the job, which partner firm sent it, status, notes on the work, and the reason if the job was cancelled.
• Partner firms: the firm's name and the fee agreed with it.
• Invitations: the code, the role, and the name, specialty and email that the owner typed in.
• Money: what a technician took for a job, the tip, and what the technician paid to a partner firm.
• Personal settings, such as the currency for your earnings.

What BoffoDay does not collect

BoffoDay does not track where you are. The settings have a Location visible switch, but for now it only saves your choice. No location is sent anywhere.

The app asks for your camera or photos only when you choose a profile photo.

There are no analytics, tracking or advertising tools in BoffoDay.

How we use the data

We use the data only to run your crew's work in BoffoDay. For example, we use it to:

• show jobs on the board and in the app;
• keep the crew's clients and reports;
• add up each technician's earnings;
• send the code that confirms your email address.

We do not use the data for anything else. We do not use it for ads or to build profiles of people. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Earnings are private

A technician's earnings, tips and payments to partner firms can be seen only by that technician. The dispatcher cannot see them. The owner of the company cannot see them either.

This is an access rule inside the database itself (row-level security). It is not a setting in the app that someone could switch off.

The rule applies to every BoffoDay account. It does not limit direct technical access to the database, which we have as the company that runs the service.

Your clients' data

Technicians and dispatchers enter the names, phone numbers and addresses of their clients. These are people who do not use BoffoDay themselves.

The crew is responsible for having the right to keep these details in BoffoDay. We keep them for that crew and do not use them for anything else. People outside your company cannot see them.

If you are a client of a crew that uses BoffoDay, you can write to us at contact@boffoday.com. We will help you see, correct or delete your data.

Where the data is kept

Supabase. Everything you enter into BoffoDay is hosted by Supabase: the database, sign-in and file storage. Profile photos are kept in private storage, and only people in your company can see them.

Resend. It sends the email with the code that confirms your email address, so it receives that address.

Supabase and Resend process the data only on our instructions, and only to provide these services to us. Each of them is bound by its own data processing terms. Those terms give the data the same level of protection that this page promises.

Google Maps. When you open an address on the map from BoffoDay, it opens in Google Maps, so Google receives that address. From there, Google's own privacy policy applies.

Your phone or computer. The app keeps your sign-in session there, and a few small marks, such as which screens you have already seen.

We do not sell your data. Apart from the services above, we do not pass it to anyone.

This website

boffoday.com has no forms and no analytics. When you open it, your browser connects to Vercel, which hosts the site, and to Google Fonts for the fonts.

How long we keep it

We keep the data until it is deleted: by you or your crew in the app, or when an account is deleted. Nothing is deleted automatically after some time.

What happens when an account is deleted is described on the Delete account page.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data.

Much of it you can see and correct in the app yourself. You can also delete your account there: Profile → Delete account.

Or write to contact@boffoday.com. We answer within one month. This also applies if you are a client and a crew keeps your details in BoffoDay.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. You can stop using BoffoDay and delete your account. You can also write to contact@boffoday.com and ask us to stop processing your data.

Withdrawing consent does not undo the processing that took place before it.
